Reading in the Rockies 2023 – Lodging & Dining Information

Copper Mountain Resort offers a variety of options for our conference attendees.

The Cambria Hotel at Copper Mountain:

For those seeking a more streamlined hotel experience for one or two people. Rooms at the Cambria Hotel are $159.00 per night before fees and taxes.

What’s Included: Rooms at Cambria Hotel are equipped with a small set of drawers, TV, mini refrigerators, and access to a microwave located in the lobby.

Location: Guests that lodge at Cambria will be approximately 5-minutes or more walk to meeting rooms.

Unit Size: Guests can choose between a King Room (featuring one bed), or a Double Queen Room (offering two queen beds).

ADA Accessible: Cambria Hotel boasts ten fully ADA compliant rooms. We kindly request that guests in need of wheelchair access, showers and other facilities prioritize booking these rooms IMMEDIATELY – they do tend to sell out quickly. DO NOT book these rooms unless you NEED wheelchair access so that we can hold them for people who require them.

Copper Mountain Lodging:

An ideal solution for guests seeking a “condo” experience or those requiring accommodations for multiple guests in a single unit. Single room units are $168.00 per night before fees and taxes. Two room units are $231.00 per night before fees and taxes.

What’s Included: Our Gold 1- or 2-Bedroom units offer a comprehensive range of amenities, including a full kitchen, closets, dressers, TV(s), 1 or 2 bathrooms, a living room, access to laundry facilities, and select units even feature balconies and fireplaces. *please note amenities vary by room

Location: It is essential for guests to indicate their preference for lodging in either the Center Village or East Village. Please note that guests opting for East Village will need to walk approximately 10 minutes, utilize personal vehicles, or utilize the Copper Coach transportation service to return to Center Village. We highly recommend guests with ADA concerns to request Center Village for their stay.

Unit Size: Guests should specify their desired unit size based on their desired number of beds. Gold 1 Bedroom units typically feature 1 bed and a sleeper sofa, while Gold 2 Bedroom units generally offer 2 beds, a bunk bed or 3rd bed, and a sleeper sofa.

ADA Accessible: Since the condo units are privately owned, the majority of units are not ADA compliant. Nevertheless, our call center ensures that guests are placed in units or buildings that can accommodate their specific requests. However, we do not recommend this destination for guests in wheelchairs. Nonetheless, guests with other ADA requirements can typically be accommodated. *please ensure guests communicate their needs with our call center agents

Copper Mountain Lodging Terms & Conditions

Those rooms not reserved by 5:00 pm Mountain Time on September 8, 2023 will automatically be released without consultation for general sale. Reservations occurring after the cutoff date will be accepted on a space available basis. Group rates are no longer guaranteed after 5:00 pm Mountain Time on September 8, 2023 and full retail rates may apply.

No Shows Rooms: which have been reserved and whose attendees fail to show on their scheduled day of arrival will be billed to the entity guaranteeing the reservation for the total lodging amount of the reservation.

Early Departures: A fee of 100% of the remaining room nights lodging amount will be charged if an attendee checks out before their confirmed departure date. This may be waived for emergency situations but must be authorized by Copper Mountain.

Room Charges: A credit card is required for a room in order to receive a room key. The credit card on file will be used for any incidental charges and/or room damages. Ski and bike storage is located in building garages.

Check In and Check Out Times: Check in time is 4 PM Mountain time. Check out is 10 AM Mountain time. Requests for an early check in or late departure for a hospitality/change room cannot be guaranteed.

Athletic Club: Guests lodging with Copper Mountain will have complimentary access to the athletic club amenities. These amenities include: cardio room, indoor hot tub, indoor pool, locker rooms and a weight room. Facials and massage are available at an extra cost. Different hours of operation apply at different times of the year.

Parking: Complimentary parking is available to Copper Mountain lodging guests. One parking pass will be given to each lodging unit booked. Group attendees not lodging in Copper Mountain managed properties may use free parking in the Alpine Lot by the entrance of the resort, which offers shuttle service to all villages, as well as other local parking lots.

There are no restaurants open within Copper Mountain Resort during the time of our conference that are open for dinner. There are multiple restaurants in both the town of Frisco and surrounding towns of Breckenridge, Silverthorne and Dillon. All of these require that you drive from Copper Mountain Resort, and reservations are strongly recommended.
