Until Everyone Can Read: A Portrait Installation!
Saturday, October 10, 2026 | 10 a.m.–2 p.m. MT
McKee Hall Breezeway | University of Northern Colorado
Free parking • Pizza & drinks • Fun & community

In recognition of Dyslexia Awareness Month, join this community-led, Inside Out Project, Group Action! Together, volunteers will install 55 large-scale, black and white portraits. Each portrait represents someone who has pledged to stand in solidarity with individuals with dyslexia and support our shared belief that literacy is a human right.
This is more than an art installation. It is a public statement about dyslexia, literacy, inclusion, and what is possible when a community comes together around a shared purpose. Volunteers will help prepare materials, apply paste, install portraits, organize supplies, and document the experience.
No experience is necessary, and everyone is welcome.

Come get a little messy, participate in pasting the portraits on campus, connect with your community, and help us create something powerful.
Literacy is a human right. We will keep working until everyone can read.
